Everflow turns one date — the day you were born — into the numbers that actually describe your time: days lived, precise age, sunrises seen, full moons witnessed, and how far you are through this year's orbit of the sun. It shows one reflective message a day, on your home screen and Lock Screen.
Need a hand?
Email burningbrosinc@gmail.com and we will get back to you. Telling us your iPhone model and iOS version, and whether the problem is in the app or in a widget, makes it much faster to help.
Adding the widget to your home screen
- Open Everflow once and enter your date of birth — the widget draws from it.
- Touch and hold an empty area of your home screen until the icons jiggle.
- Tap Edit → Add Widget (on older iOS, tap the + in the corner).
- Search for Everflow, choose small, medium or large, and tap Add Widget.
Adding it to the Lock Screen
- Touch and hold your Lock Screen, then tap Customise → Lock Screen.
- Tap the area under the clock, then pick Everflow from the list.
Questions we get
Does it work without a network?
Yes — completely. Every number is calculated on your iPhone. Everflow needs no account and no connection to show you the right thing.
Why is a number one off from another app?
Full moons are computed astronomically and then placed on your device's local calendar day, so a moon that rises just after midnight in your time zone lands on a different day than it does elsewhere. Precise age uses the mean Gregorian year (365.2425 days), which is what makes leap years average out.
I was born on 29 February.
Everflow observes your birthday on 28 February in years that have no 29th, so you get a birthday every year.
How do I change my birthday or language?
Open the app, tap the gear icon, then Your birthday or Languages. The widgets update on the next refresh.
The widget looks stale.
iOS decides when a widget may refresh, and it can hold off when the battery is low or Low Power Mode is on. Opening the app republishes the day's message immediately. If it still looks wrong, remove the widget and add it again.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Your date of birth and preferences live only on your device, so removing the app removes them. Nothing was ever sent to us — see the Privacy Policy.
